I am currently enrolled in a Master's Program at Pioneer University.  The program is a masters in education with a emphasis on Project Based Learning.  My thesis will involve working with colleagues to create a writing program that can be used in a project based environment.  Teachers from Riverside Preparatory School will use this program to teach writing as a companion to the project based hand book that will also be written by colleagues in the same Master's Program at Pioneer University.

I have been given the opportunity to coach two students in the first year of their masters program at Pioneer.  I will be listening, coaching, and guiding them to finding solutions to their various problems.

I also have just finished clearing my teaching credential through the BTSA induction program.
October 20, 2009 I received a grant from the Rotary Club.  The project was entitled "What's in a Story?"  We will used this money to fund our Fair Tale Project by having the students attend a Fairy Tale Ball.  This project is built on the interests of the students and excited them about the character, setting, and plots in each story that was examined.  Students were able to portray real fair tale characters and tell about them in a formal interview.
